Crafted from 100% cotton, this skirt features seven layers of different cotton fabrics, inspired by the traditional skirts of Nazaré, and side metal snaps. The glass bead embroidery is a traditional element of northern Portuguese folk costume, while the mirror embroidery uses a traditional technique from Gujarat, India, made by a women’s cooperative based in Lisbon.
